Project year - 2022
The goal was to offer an alternative to idea creation web platforms already available on the market, and give Accenture's internal team a user-friendly intuitive web platform. We wanted to make sure that creating, presenting, and validating ideas didn't feel like a chore - but instead felt more like a collaborative community in which everyone can express their thoughts and contribute as a valuable team member.

Process
Setting the idea creation foundations
We broke the project down into a few important chunks of work, but we had to work fast as this was a project request from our usual client, and we were competing against other big players already in the game. This work included: global research into competitors, identifying design opportunities, getting our employees into the app, testing its intuitively and originality.
Given this project was a completely new service we haven't done for a client before — we decided to focus on its ease-of-use from both account parties, that is idea creator and challenge creator. So that both sides are able to fully create the question and also submit an idea within the web app while enjoying the interaction between all features. Setting up the foundations. We wanted a solid functioning homepage for both account parties before layering more screens, and high-fidelity features.
Challenges along the way
We came up against some challenges along the way that wasn't making our design proposal different enough to what was already available on the market, that was even with the intensive competitor analysis research behind us.
However, we believed that we did our best in a space of relative short amount of time for such a complex web platform, so we ran a couple of tests on our target audience and resulted with a much higher positive feedback than negative.
Outcome
After a few iterations and releases we got to a well-performing structure, after having added the comparison chart below.
Since the user experience was successful and client was happy with the results, it gave us a kick-start into introducing even more core features such as having an Autofill AI generated option.
